Best Golf Courses In Oakland
The best public and private golf courses in Oakland would be:
Sequoyah Country Club and Claremont Country Club are both private and have two of the best 18-hole golf courses near you with ratings of 71.3 and 68.1 plus total lengths of 6,100 and 5,499 yards for pars of 72 and 68 respectively.
Metropolitan Golf Links and Corica Park Golf Course are both public with 18-hole courses and total lengths of 6,959 and 6,874 yards for pars of 72.
Lake Chabot has a local 18-hole course with a total length of 6,006 yards as well as a fun par 3 course.
Tilden Park Golf Course is a public 18-hole course with a total length of 6,294 yards for a par of 70.
You can also find some of the best courses in the country a few hours away like Pebble Beach, Chardonnay Golf Club, Silverado, Eagle Vines, and Hiddenbrooke but they aren’t really close enough for us to go into detail here. However if you are up for a drive we doubt you will regret playing at either.
