Many would agree that the best public and private golf courses in Palm Springs are:

O’Donnell Golf Club opened in 1925 and offers a 9 hole 2,601 yard par 35 course with a 32.9 course rating and a 107 slope rating.
In 2000 Cimarron Golf Resort was founded and it features a 6,747 yard course with 18 holes for a par of 71, a 71.6 course rating, and a slope rating of 122.
Steven Laques Country Club has been a great place to play golf near you since 1965 and currently offers a 2,712 yard 18 hole par 58 course with a 54.2 rating and a slope rating of 78.
A 6,672 yard course with 18 holes for a par of 72 with a rating of 72.9 and a slope rating of 132 is available at Catedral Canon Golf Club which first opened its doors in 1975.
Thunderbird Country Club was established in 1965 offering a 2,724 yard, 9 hole par 35 course, a 33.1 rating, and a 136 slope.
The local Stone Eagle Golf Club was founded in 2005 and if you visit you will find a beautiful 7,012 yard 18 hole course with a par of 71, a rating of 73.7, and a slope rating of 131.
Back in 1987 the TPC Stadium Course at PGA West opened up and the 7,300-yard 18-hole course is great with a par of 72, course rating of 82.5, and a slope rating of 154.
The Pete Dye Resort Course was also established in 1987 and this 18-hole par 70 course has 6,706-total yards with a rating of 72.1 and a slope rating of 130.
The Indian Wells Celebrity Course has a rating of 74.3 and a slope rating of 138. The par is 72 and on the 18-holes there are 7,038 total yards to test your skills on.
Another great place to play golf in Palm Springs is the Legend Course at Tahquitz Creek which was established in 1960. Currently the 6,815-yard 18-hole course has a par of 71 and a rating of 72.4 with a slope rating of 121.
Firecliff at Desert Willow was established in 1997 providing a stunndig 7,056-yard 18-hole par 72 course that has a rating of 74.1 with a slope rating of 141.
The Arnold Palmer Classic Course at Silver Rock has been open for nearly two decades offering a 7,239-yard 18-hole course that has a par of 72, a course rating of 75.0, and a slope rating of 139.

The PGA Tour Shop is a great local pro shop and the other two are more like general sporting goods stores that should have a nice selection of golf clubs and gear.

There is not a Topgolf in Palm Springs at the momento but there is one in Ontario a little over an hour drive away.

Boomers at 67-700 East Palm Canyon Drive offers miniature golf on three fun 18-hole courses. It is an all around amusement center with plenty of fun games for kids top lay in addition to the mini golf.
