Best Golf Courses In El Paso

Many would agree that the best public and private golf courses in El Paso are:

The Butterfield Trail Golf Club near you is open every day from 6:30am to 5:30pm offering a challenging 18-hole course with a par of 72, 7,307 total yards, 72.8 course rating, and 130 slope rating.

Painted Dunes Desert first opened in 1991 and has three combined 9-hole courses with pars of 72 which are available seven days a week from 6:30am to 7pm. The East/West course measures 6,925 yards, the North/West course covers 6,941 yards, and the East/North course has a total length of 6,904 yards.

There are two 18-hole courses with pars of 72 at Underwood Golf Complex which is open from 6am to 7pm on weekdays and from 5:30am on weekends. The Sunset course has a rating of 70.2, slope rating of 119, and a total length of 6,629 yards while the Sunrise course has a rating of 73.1, slope rating of 126, and a total length of 6,942 yards.

A fun 18-hole par 71 championship course with a total length of 6,565 yards, 69.4 course rating, and 114 slope rating as well as a small course of 2,677 yards and 9 holes with a par of 36 can be found at the local Ascarate Golf Course which opened in 1955 and you can visit them every day from 6am to 8pm.

People began playing at Lone Star Golf Club in 1975 and today it features an 18-hole par 71 course with a rating of 69.8, slope rating of 124, and a length of 6,603 total yards that you can enjoy all throughout the week starting at 6am.

Coronado Country Club opened in 1961 and this private 18-hole course has a par of 70, a course rating of 70.2, slope rating of 129, and total length of 6,485 yards.

All the way back in 1906 El Paso Country Club began accepting members and today it features a private 18-hole par 71 course with a 71.5 rating, slope rating of 130, and total length of 6,781 yards.
