We thought about getting creative but the truth is there is no better way for us to begin than by listing the best public and private golf courses in your area. Grand Cypress opened in 1984 and offers three of the best 18-hole par 72 golf courses near you including the North course with a total length of 3,620 yards, the South Course with 3,588 yards, and the East Course which covers 3,365 yards.

Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course has 18 holes, 11 of which have water hazards. The course rating is 76 with a slope rating of 141 and a total length of 7,516 yards.

Dubsdread Golf Course opened in 1924 and has 18 holes with a par of 70 and a length of 6,153 yards.

Ventura Country Club opened in 1981 and has a local private 18-hole golf course with a par of 70, course rating of 66.6, slope rating of 113, and a total length of 5,467 yards.

Waldorf Astoria Golf Club and Orange Lake Golf both offer 18-hole par 72 courses with 71.4 and 74.3 course ratings, 127 and 132 slope ratings, and lengths of 7,108 and 7,072 respectively.

You can find a fun 9-hole par 32 course with 2,308 total yards, 33.5 course rating, and 123 slope rating at Grande Vista Golf Club.

Reunion Resort has three great 18-hole courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Watson and they have total lengths of 7,244, 6,916, and 7,154 yards respectively.

Falcon’s Fire Golf Course has 18 holes with a par of 72, course rating of 72.5, slope rating of 125, and a length of over 7,000 yards.
