Raleigh Golf Association has a public 18-hole course with a total length of 6,088 yards, 70 course rating, and 123 slope rating. They also have a private course that is only available to a select few.

The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation hosts tournaments and has 18 holes with a length of 6,869 yards, 70 course rating, and 135 slope rating.

North Ridge has an 18-hole private golf course near you with a par of 72, course rating of 72, slope rating of 136, and a total length of 6,880 yards.

Dogwood and Willowhaven are semi-private with 18 holes, 70 and 72 course ratings, 126 and 136 slope ratings, and lengths of 6,443 and 6,388 yards respectively for pars of 72.

Hillandale is a public club that has 18 holes with a 70 rating, 127 slope rating, and a length of 6,425 yards for a par of 71.

Croasdaile Country Club has an 18-hole par 72 private golf course in Raleigh with a 127 slope rating, a total length of 6,425 yards, and a 70 course rating.

Old Chatham is a public club that holds tournaments and has an 18-hole golf course with a course rating of 74, slope rating of 140, and a length of 7,210 yards for a par of 71.

Prestonwoood hosts tournaments and has a private 18-hole course with a 74 rating, 138 slope rating, and a total length of 7,082 yards for a par of 72.

MacGregor, Chapel Hills, and Jones Park are public clubs that have 18-hole courses with ratings of 73, 72, and 70 with total lengths of 7,003, 6,752, and 6,009 yards respectively for pars of 72.

Governors Club is a 9-hole public par 36 course with a length of 3,502 yards, course rating of 74, and slope rating of 144.

Preserve Governors Club is a semi private golf club that conducts matches and has an 18 hole course with a 74 rating and a length of 7,107 yards for a par of 72.

We didn’t list Pinehurst because it isn’t in the city by any means but it is worth the drive if you can book a tee time.
