Old Soldiers’ Home Golf Course opened in 1948 while Sligo Creek Golf Course opened in 1956 and both have 9 holes with lengths of 2,517 and 2,416 yards for pars of 35 and 34 respectively.

Langston has a great 18-hole golf course near you with a par of 72, course rating of 70.9, slope rating of 121, and a length of 6,652 yards.

You can find a fun private 9-hole par 35 course with a total length of 2,942 yards, 34.3 course rating, and 111 slope rating at Washington Golf and Country Club which opened in 1924.

Pinecrest Golf Course opened in the mid 80’s and has 9 holes for a total length of 2,459 yards, 32.3 course rating, 107 slope rating, and a par of 35.

Mount Vernon Country Club has an18-hole private local par 71 golf course where 14 of the holes have challenging water hazards. It has a total length of 6,358 yards, course rating of 76.8, and a slope rating of 142.

Belle Haven Country Club offers a private 18-hole course which has a par of 72, course rating of 74.2, slope rating of 130, and a length of 6,965 yards.

Argyle Country Club and Congressional Country Club feature private 18-hole par 71 courses with lengths of 6,500 and 6,844 yards, 71.1 and 73.6 course ratings, and 129 and 135 slope ratings respectively.

Another private 18-hole par 70 course with a total length of 6,729 yards, 73.2 course rating, and 133 slope rating can be found at Manor Country Club.

Norbeck Country Club and Lakewood Country Club have private 18-hole courses with pars of 72, course ratings of 73.7 and 74.4, slope ratings of 133 and 134, and lengths of 7,019 and 7,119 total yards.

TPC Potomac opened in 1986 which has 18 holes, a par of 70, 74 course rating, 140 slope rating, and 7,139 total yards.
