The best public and private golf courses in Lisbon would be:
Golfe Paço do Lumiar is a public club featuring a 9-hole course which has a course rating of 56.5 and a length of 1,561 meters for a par of 29. They also host events and tournaments from time to time.
Golf Aroeira I opened its 18-hole golf course near you in 1973 which is 30 minutes away from the city center and has a course rating of 72.9, slope rating of 134, and a total length of 6,044 meters for a par of 72.
Belas Clube de Campo Golf Course is an 18-hole par 72 course that is also about half an hour away from the center of the city and has a course rating of 73.2, slope rating of 133, and a total length of 6,380 meters.
You can find a fun 18-hole par 71 course with a total length of 6,372 meters, 74.1 course rating, and 128 slope rating at Campo de Golfe Oitavos Dunes which is just a 35 minute drive from downtown.
It will take you approximately 40 minutes to reach Penha Longa Resort which offers two local golf courses. Its 18-hole course has a length of 6,290 meters for a par of 72 while its par 33 9-hole course measures 2,588 meters.
Quinta do Peru Golf and Country Club opened in 1994 and features an 18-hole par 72 course which is about an hours drive from the city center. The course has a total length of 6,320 meters, course rating of 70.1, and a slope rating of 121.
